Overview:

We are looking for Advanced Dermatology Expert to review, validate, and refine dermatology-related questions used for evaluating AI models. Your expertise in clinical dermatology, skin pathology, cosmetic dermatology, dermatopathology, and skin disease management will help ensure accuracy, realism, and instructional value in these assessments.

Job Details:

• Question Validation: Verify the accuracy and correctness of questions and answers related to skin anatomy, dermatological conditions, diagnostic procedures, treatment options, and cosmetic dermatology techniques.

• Scenario Analysis: Review case-based queries (e.g., differentiating between types of skin lesions, assessing dermatological imaging results, diagnosing autoimmune skin disorders, selecting treatment plans for chronic skin diseases) to ensure alignment with real-world dermatology practice.

• Research & Cross-Checking: Consult authoritative sources such as medical textbooks, peer-reviewed dermatology journals, clinical guidelines (AAD, EADV, BJD), and diagnostic protocols to ensure factual consistency and clinical accuracy.

• Structured Feedback: Provide clear, structured feedback with justifications for refining questions, improving clarity, and ensuring alignment with dermatology best practices and medical guidelines.

• Quality Monitoring: Ensure that each question effectively tests dermatology knowledge, diagnostic reasoning, and clinical decision-making skills, distinguishing between closely related skin conditions and treatment options.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Advanced Knowledge of Dermatology:

  Strong understanding of clinical dermatology, skin pathology, cosmetic dermatology, and immunodermatology.

  Familiarity with common dermatological diagnostic techniques such as dermoscopy, biopsy interpretation, histopathology, and imaging modalities.

• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:

  Ability to analyze dermatological cases, assess differential diagnoses, and determine evidence-based treatment plans.

  Strong grasp of skin pharmacology, laser and light therapies, and surgical dermatological procedures.

• Clear & Concise Communication:

  Ability to explain complex dermatological conditions and treatments clearly while maintaining medical accuracy.

  Experience in medical writing, research publication, or clinical documentation.

• Attention to Detail:

  Skilled in identifying dermatological assessment errors, medical data inconsistencies, or inaccurate diagnostic criteria.

  Ensures accuracy in treatment guidelines, lesion classification, and patient management protocols.

Minimum Qualifications:

• MD or PhD in Dermatology, Skin Pathology, or a related medical field.

• 2+ years of professional experience in dermatology practice, research, or clinical education.

• Proficiency with dermatological diagnostic tools, skin imaging technologies, and treatment modalities.

• Strong technical writing skills with experience in clinical research, academic publishing, or dermatology education.

Additional Details:

• The role is remote and asynchronous, i.e., you can primarily work on your own schedule.

• This project will require approximately 20 hours of work over one week.

• Applicants must be based in the US or Canada.
