About the Role: We’re seeking Technical Project Managers to propel Mercor’s growth by managing complex projects within the life cycle of our engagement with customers, many of whom use our platform to find domain experts to build datasets to train and evaluate AI models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and management of recruitment pipelines to source domain experts for various AI model training projects commissioned by foundational AI companies.
- Oversee end-to-end assessment strategies to ensure the selection of high-quality talent that meets specific client requirements, using Mercor’s platform or other external sources.
- Coordinate with internal teams and the wider Operations team to execute high-impact action items requiring data pipeline design and analysis to ensure timely delivery of top-notch deliverables.
- Collaborating with Engagement Managers to oversee the complete lifecycle of projects, establishing project infrastructure, monitoring KPIs, and delivering results on time.
- Aid in managing client relationships, translating their requirements into actionable plans and driving the execution of core tasks.
- Onboard and interface directly with domain experts on bespoke tasks essential to the project's success, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project goals.
- Continuously analyze and enhance our processes, implementing automation and efficiency improvements to streamline operations and boost productivity.
Qualifications:
- Background in research, consulting, data science, or business.
- Background in a technical domain (e.g., data science, computer science), or demonstrated learning, is a plus.
- Familiarity with using data analysis tools like Excel and project management software.
- A “nice-to-have,” but not a requirement, is a proven track record of managing client interactions and recruitment processes.
