About the Role
Silicon Valley’s top AI companies work with Mercor to find domain experts who can help train and evaluate their models. As a Strategic Projects Lead (SPL) at Mercor, you will drive the tactical execution of these projects, ensure top-notch service to customers, and single-handedly drive millions of dollars in revenue. In doing so, you will have a significant impact on Mercor’s long-term growth.
A Strategic Projects Lead will report directly to either Mercor’s Chief Operating Officer or Head of Operations. In addition to a generous base compensation, employees at Mercor are eligible for a performance bonus, housing bonus, relocation bonus, and strong equity compensation.
Key Responsibilities
• Generate $10M+ in revenue by executing large-scale projects on behalf of leading AI labs and tech companies.
• Source, vet, and manage the performance of hundreds of domain experts from different disciplines (e.g., software engineering, medicine, law).
• Foster strong relationships with researchers at leading AI labs and tech companies, anticipating client needs and identifying opportunities for project expansion.
• Collaborate closely with the wider Operations team to execute project strategies, meet client objectives, and drive process optimizations.
Who Are We Looking For?
• Able to work a 9-9-6 schedule in-office from Monday-Saturday
• 1-4+ years of experience in consulting, finance, or startups
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Experience working with customers
Compensation
• Base cash comp starting at $120-150K
• Base stock option grant starting at $500K over 4 years
• Commission-based bonus in the form of cash and equity
• Generous equity compensation
• A $20K relocation bonus (if moving to the Bay Area)
• A $10K housing bonus (if you live within 0.5 miles of our office)
