Meet the team

Brendan Foody

CEO, Co-founder

Brendan is a serial entrepreneur. During his senior year of high school, he bootstrapped a business to six figures in revenue. He’s assembling the Mercor Mafia with the intention of tackling the world’s largest problem — the labor market.

Surya Midha

COO, Co-founder

Before dropping out of Georgetown, he conducted research for Caitlin Talmadge and Eswar Praswar. Now, he leads Mercor as our Chief Operating Officer.

Adarsh Hiremath

CTO, Co-founder

Before dropping out of Harvard, Adarsh spent his time conducting ML research and researching under Larry Summers. Now, he leads Mercor’s tech team as we train models that can predict job performance better than a human.

Shaun VanWeelden

Managing Director

Shaun leads Mercor’s talent success efforts. Prior to joining the team, he was Scale AI’s first customer engineer and led human data operations at OpenAI. Shaun graduated from Iowa State University.

Sidharth Potdar

Head of Operations

Sid leads client relationships at Mercor. Prior to joining, he led growth at Scale AI and consulted for major tech companies at McKinsey. Sid graduated from Georgia Tech.

Chirag Mahapatra

Head of Platform Engineering

Chirag is supporting the Platform Engineering team at Mercor. Previously, he was the co-founder of Blaze, where he led EPD until the company was acquired. Before that, he led engineering teams at Meta and Airbnb.
